The EARLY FORD V-8 CLUB OF AMERICA
Mohawk Valley Regional Group # 59 Established in 1973
WE WILL BE HAVING OUR NEXT GATHERING ON SATURDAY, AUG 24 2024, AT THE MASONIC TEMPLE IN ORISKANY.
Justin LaChausse will be there and it will be our last (?) meeting before the National Meet in Clayton. We will meet at 12 noon and have lunch together. Len and Dolores Pugh are hosting. A head count of those attending would be helpful in ordering the food. Please let the Pughs know if you are planning to attend.
Call them: Home 315- 736-4443; Len’s cell 315-796-1002 or e-mail lendolores@roadrunner.com
It is possible that we will use the August 24th meeting (with everyone’s help and the ample space) to begin loading the goodie bags for the meet. This has not been decided yet but please be prepared.
The Eastern National Meet will start Sunday September 15 and conclude on Friday September 20. We will be working on 11th hour details for the Clayton national Meet. If you have not registered yet and would like to do so, there is still time. If you are not registering but could help us out at Clayton for a day or a morning it would be greatly appreciated. We need help in the registration and raffle rooms, taking tickets, vehicle Inspections, Sunday set up, parking layout, decorating, hospitality room and trailer parking. Sign up sheets will be available.
In any case we would be glad to have you join us on August 24 for some flathead V-8 camaraderie.
Regards, Arel & Barb Brown

Eastern Meet signup sheets will be available. We need help in many areas. Please give thought to where and when you can volunteer. Fred Killian is contacting and organizing people to do the vehicle inspection. Mark Moriarty will need assistance to prepare the wooden award plaques.
Our final meeting will be held the last week of September. The date to be determined and announced at the 8/10 meeting.
